My new job has a 35-40 minute commute 1 way... I carpool with a few other guys so I've found myself being rather bored as we commute day after day, week after week... month after month. So, this past weekend I bought a cheap laptop. I'm happy to say it works great in the car and I've started working on PointBlank during the ride in / back. I'm making alot of progress. The importing seems to be fairly complete, and I've started on the shooting results database (ie: what used to be the "large target" screen and its associated data). This data will be much easier to access due to the new overall treeview representation of calibers -> firearms -> loads -> shooting results.

I'm pretty excited with all of the headway I've made this week and whats planned for the future. Anyway I'm working on it Smile

Dallan, I concur 110% with Wiley. I too applaud your dedication to your project mate. I am not entirely convinced that we are deserving of your sacrifices to provide the PointBlank Software.

Cheers, Vince

PointBlank software has been my "go to" resource for several years and I'm tickled to see that another version is in the works! I've set up spread sheets to compare kinetic energy, momentum, Taylor "Knock Out Value" and "Optimum Game Weight" but that's been about the limit of my skills.

Now, as far as a wish list... Greenhill twist formula? Optimum Game Weight? I mean we can always want more!

This has got to be one of the best Downloads I have put on my computer. I have used it for about 1.5yrs and I compare my results with Horus A-trag and 2 others I have on my PDA.

Great job and I am glad I found this web site..Thanks for your hard work,
