Gday Eric.

Welcome mate.

I dont know much about bow hunting so I cant comment on them, but someone here must be experienced enough to give you some good answer.

Drag a log and sit by the fire mate.

Gelan

I've only seen this thing on a TV show and wondered myself if they would work. It would seem to me that a crossbow would make more sense, if they are legal in your area. Then again, if a crossbow is not allowed, a draw-loc shouldn't be either.

I have a brand new Mathews Solo Cam dont want to sell for a crossbow, you do need a permit for this draw loc I have one. Im using it now just wondering if anyone knew of its consistency, or a trick on keep it more stable. I will practice one will be perfect then the next will be off usually low and right, It could also be my shoulder then I get in the woods take another shot and its off. missed 2 big bucks already. Just courious if its me or the if someone knew about the draw-loc.

They try to hock this thing every Saturday morning on one of those canned hunting shows. The promoter (actually a washed up old boxer) hammers this thing for a half an hour and then kills somethin. He tried to use it here in CO and the DOW shut him down.....we don't allow any bow assisting devices. It basically makes your bow an inverted cross bow.............
