There is in my opinion NOT ENOUGH coverage given to the human voice as a wonderful musical instrument!!! This is why I try to stay with older stuff and Celtic music with those nice high notes at a slower pace. And I get tired of music that "assualts" you. I put up with noisey(?) old machines at work and I want to tone things down before I get home.

So I can see where the little one has taken a marker to his bedroom wall!!!
HHHHHMMMMM???????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YEAH!!!! He is only three afterall. Paint is; I suppose cheap. Now if he does when he is old enough to know better and understand why. Then that is a whole 'nother story folks' !

Here ya go Arron....a mate sent this to me...very nice and very easy listening music too.

Paris Sisters

What Celtic music do you listen to mate? If you get a chance, check out the PeatBog Faeries...a "modern" celtic band.

Cheers, Vince

Well believe it or not I did actually enjoy that one! Sometimes it is the simple stuff that needs no explanantion. Thought it is a bit before my time, I still like it.

Celtic Stuff...... Well I had to fight with the pastor to get The Call and the Answer by DeDannan (talk about a voice, WOW!) played during our wedding. We both made a consession, he he!! Ah Let's see Clannad and the two gals there of, the Chieftains(Long Black Veil), ah Cappercaillie, Boys of the Lough, Phil Coulter, Night Noise, Planxty(?) and out of northern England Pentangle. Irish Rovers. And of course one of the best Celtic Fiddle players ever Alisdair Frasier. And then of course I do happen to know just about all of the folks from the DROVERS out of Chicago. See the movie "Backdraft", the band is them. Not really trad. but are good to listen to when the "mood" hits, the fiddle-man; Sean Cleland is as good as anyone and could probably play right alongside of Frasier. NOW THAT WOULD BE A FUN THING TO SEE/HEAR!!! There are tons of others I have heard and would most likely know them if you mentioned them, although the group you suggested is new to me so I may have to look for them.
Just last week when Cathy was over at her mom's to play with her sewing machines, I watched the CELTIC THUNDER group on PBS. If this one comes on it is a good show, but I wish they had done more trad. Celtic music. The youngest member Damian will amaze anyone. By the way a shameless request. I need the album "Jacket of Batteries" by Dedannan. my copy(CD) is D E D - Dead. Sorry couldn't resist. HE HE HE!!!
