Phil, Remington set up a new ultra modren plant in Turkey for their overand under. I think most of the rest are in ga. or somewhere close. Ammo is Ark? I slobered on their Modle 5 in .22LR made in Serbia, wherever it is now with all the breakups! Been drooling over a Henery in .22mag for turkeys. They are nice! Can't be devoriced for looking!

I have both, but prefer a straight grip. I just think they handle better and faster.

I'm way late on this post but I like straight grips on my levers.
I also like straight grips on my shotguns, if available. Much faster coming up to the shoulder.

Give me a pistol grip any day like a Marlin XLR (in .444 Marlin. Love that laminated stock) or a Browning BLR (in .358 Win).
