The Lee scale is surprisingly accurate - just make sure you level & zero it before use & it's good to go.
If you're using stick type powders, then rotating drum type powder dispensers are noted for problems with them.
Before I bought the RCBS Chargemaster combo, I used to set my Uniflow to throw rifle charges a little short of the desired weight & then trickle them up on the scale.

Gidday pommy. Welcome to HuntingNut mate. Pull up a stump, grab a XXXX and sit awhile.

What part of Qld are you in mate? If you are nearby Brisbane I recommend a trip to either QGE or Rebel Gunworks in Wooloongabba. The guys there will set you straight with a decent scale.

When you say "powder measure", do you mean the little powder dippers that LEE usually provide? If so, I have never found them to be very accurate, mainly because each powder is slightly different in its granule size.

I have a Redding Powder Throw and a Redding Beam scale as well as a small electronic scale. I set my powder throw to throw light then finish it off with a powder trickler on the electronic scale, although the beam scale is more precise.

Give me a yell if I can help in any way.

Cheers, Vince

I have used rcbs now for 33yrs and have never had a problem ,,, and your doing the right thing reloading you'll end up with taylored loads your guns thrive on so you will miss less and have fun in the process. No 2 guns will shoot the same load as well at the bench.
