Why thank you, but I don't have a .22-250. Just an old Jackhandle and a .30-06...

Ok, I'll bite. The term "jackhandle"? This one is new to me. If I was to propose a meaning, it would be a less-than-affectionate term endeared to a rifle that is at the other end of the spectrum from a precision rifle. As it would only be useful to use as a jackhande. How far off am I?

O K...I'll "bite" too....

1948-49 Winchester .30 WCF capable of a 1 5/8" three shot group at 100 yards.

Long ago a friend of mine saw my rifle and stated that all it was good for was a "jack handle"...Then he saw what it could do and tried to buy it from me. Sense then it has been known as the "Jackhandle". I bought it in 1960 for $50.00 and a single shot Hopkins & Allan 12 gauge Dimascus twist.
