Well, I had a very big couple of days last weekend...my daughter got married.

She chose a spot in the hinterland about 4 hrs South of where I live called The Open Air Cathedral in Beks Hill NSW. The "cathedral" is a cleared area on top of a hill overlooking a small cemetery and a very big valley... absolutely beautiful spot.

We organised a coach to get everybody to and from the service and then had a great wedding "breakfast" in a 100 yr old hall. Overall, a magnificent event and weekend.

The wedding car was a fully restored '55 Chevy...very nice.

That's three down and one to go, although the youngest reckons she is not getting married...she wants to remain at home with her Mummy.

Cheers, Vince

I suppose I should show why I was in a kilt on the day.

Wait, is that right-hand drive or is the admirer just used to walking up to the passenger's, oops, driver's door? IS THIS YOUR CHEVY??? You've only showed us pictures of you motorcycles before this.

This is oustanding!

Congrats old mate! I wish I could shake your hand, slap ya on the back and buy a frosty one.

Looking VERY sharp too, takes mad skills to blow the pipes and not break eardrums or windows.

This is a great post, you should be very proud.

Easy there Stovey. I, also, of Scotish desent. And rather high born too. Laughing

That's "M'Lord Bushmaster" to you Stovey. Worship

This is a stained glass window in the church on what was Holy Island off the coast of Scotland. Church is some 300 years old and still used.

I know what's under there, but I won't tell my wife... Very Happy

Aye- I'm from lowlander decent.

Scotch-irish redneck meself. The term "redneck" orriginally came from a description of my ancestrors that settled this fine land, or back east, as legend has it. Most associate it with "hick" but, Redneck orriginated from the Scotch-Irish settlers that came to America. They brought industry, metal working, all kinda cool stuff. I don't think I have a tartan though. Sad Bout as close as I can figure I'm a subvert of the clan Leslie under More/Muir tartan. Dont quote me there....

p/s- me chicken legs dont lend themselves to kilting. alwys been a might shy about that. Ever seen the utili-kilt? These things are kinda cool. Some hardcore's don't think so though...a lad of mine who's full on Scott loves them, he's a gaffer for a stuido and they are great for hot weather work.
