Sometimes the hunt is not about the hunt.

Sometimes you "shoot" the animal, sometimes you "hunt" it. If I was for example trying to maintain the balance of wildlife in a area, sure I'd hunt with a helicopter, makes it easier to shoot them.

Say I bribed my way into a African game preserve where they are suffering from over population of Elephants (which is a common problem in many of them and the Governments there uses the military to cull the extra to maintain a balance) I'd have not problem jumping in a helicopter and doing a "fly by". Safer to do it this way too. Wink

There is a difference between "hunting" and culling.

That is what I was referring to.

It is common to cull some animals out here from a chopper...but it is illegal to hunt from a chopper...as far as I know anyway.

yip we here cull out of a chopper too. deer thar and canada geese yes I didnt make a typo thats right the KING of waterfowl gets a load of #3s from above but it sure beats the heck out of poison. thats culling not hunting and the two are as far apart as mini golf in the back yard and the last hole of the US open. you hit the ball into a hole but thats where the comparison ends. these roosters Radar are talking about arent sportsmen they are just lazybones collectors.
