Been in detox @ home for a few days. I tossed out my pain meds from my recent shoulder surgery cuz I dont need 'em any more, went cold turkey off the two a day I was taking over the past couple eons since getting crushed. Had no idea what was in store. Holy crap! Mad All better now. No worse for wear and tear, good to go, no cravings. Doc got a good chuckle and said "Pepto and Tylenol for a few days, just man up and deal with it pal".... I thougt I had the Hong Kong flu or sumpin.

I lost a few pounds outta both ends.... Laughing

Wow, how did you survive!?!? That's as close to being a one-arm paper hanger as you can get.

Now, I've been trying to image how you could break an arm and a foot at the same time? Taking care of some young punk in your local bar??

Unauthurized dismount from a horse. Broke it right at the ball. Tore up my whole right side ribs and all. Broke the major bone in my right foot. Couldn't get back on the horse. Walked one mile back to the ranch with a horse nose to my butt all the way.

I see those stickers in the city dweller's pickup windows that say "Cowboy Up" I wonder if they even know what it means..................................I DO!!

Werd! I see that sticker out here a lot and jsut laugh. Got pitched once in Az. when Beau balked at a gulley crossing, over the front. Landed on my rear, Cope can put a nice bruise in my rump, got hip stinger outta it too. Kinda scary we was WAY out in the bush. Took an hour for I could get back on. Nose in the rump thingy too..."comon man, were burnin' daylight" kinda thing. Horses are funny. Later found out I separated a rib and cracked my right collar bone. In the bush when ya have a git off, hold at least one rein for dear life so yer mount don't wander off while yer trying to get the wind back in ya. Riding rodeo? Bail!!! Tween bikes and broncs I'm amazed I can still git outta bed.
