Vince, you know Quadruppel? My oldest daughter even uses it to make a tastfull stew with (roe-)deer venisson. A kind of goulash but without the tomatoes and paprikas. It even works fine with a cheaper dark beer and it's very easy to make. It takes little effords, only long cooking time.

Maybe I'll put this recipe here one day when Suz finally succeeds in harvesting a deer. I fear she has already problems in remembering how deer looks like....

Since it was international beer day, I had tried an import: Samuel Adams. IMHO better than Sierra Nevada. Best American beer I've tried.

(if anyone outside Australia wants to try a good Aussie beer, try Coopers, forget Fosters)

Got me some Tusker Vanuatu beers .. not a bad brew indeed..
