I agree whole heartedly in arming and defending ourselves and our way of life. I agree with making the borders secure. When she said we have to give up our right to privacy I almost vomited!
We don't have to give up any of our rights to fight terrorists. We need to reinforce our rights - all of them because if we give up any right we can lose them all. The law enforcement community cannot prevent crime. They have to wait until a crime is committed to act. All the intelligence gathering in the world will not allow law enforcement to act before a crime is committed.
Instead of giving up our rights we should be ready at all times and in all places to defend ourselves and others against crime. Then when the police react they only have to clean up. There doesn't have to be a trial because dead terrorists don't need a trial. There is no need to investigate because the bad guys didn't get away. There won't be any mass murders because the bad guy won't get off more than two shots before he is riddled with lead and copper. The terrorist will soon understand that terror doesn't work on people who are prepared.
we need to ban "gun free zones" and allow law abiding citizens their right to defend themselves. It is not time to restrict our rights, it is time to take out the trash.
