Attended a Remebrance Day ceremony today...made even more poignant by the death of the President (a long time acquaintance) of the Returned Services League Sub Branch a couple of weeks ago.

To all who served, are still serving or are about to serve, we thank you for your diligence and sacrifices. Also those who many of us here served side by side with over the years...thank you.

From one more Vet, with humble pride, I say thank you. I joined because I felt it was every Americans obligation to give back to our country...and its with pride that I watch those in the Military today, doing a thankless job and doing it well.

My nephew just did his last jumps for SF training and now he's on the list, gets his scrolls soon (I think) and more.... there's a banner in town on light poles with his name on it now too.
