Isn't she pretty?
Forged the billet myself from an inch thick elevator steel cable.
She is not finished yet, still need a scale put on and a sheath..
But hey, she is my FIRST!

I like making things, and knives are one of them.
Somehow since a couple of months ago I got plenty of offers for interesting steel on trade that I could make into knives, so I did.

That's amazing!! I didn't know you could make a steel cable into a knife blade. A lot of flux, a lot of heat and a lot of hammering? How do you do it? Is it actually blue? I love it!
