Suddenly it occurs to me. These are the kids who spend several years playing those mayhem shoot shoot shoot, kill kill kill video games with no consequences for random spraying bullets everywhere and if you get killed you just start over !!! Now they are of legal age to buy guns and have no criminal records because they spent their lives in their parents basement playing this crap and they hardly ever left the house ! If I sound pissed it is because I am pissed. These kids are severely desensitised as to how to act around real people in real life and now they are armed. I am a life NRA member. I took the hunters safety courses along with both of my boys when they came of age so there were lots of discussions about the whys and why nots and what ifs relating to what they were learning in the classes. Both my boys scored 100% on their tests and got honorable mentions when they graduated. You could see the pride in their faces. Maybe it is time to have a reasonable sort of gun owners program prior to buying your first gun. We have to take driving tests, hunter safety to get a hunting liscense, in some states a basic handgun safety course to buy a pistol all of which I have found to be made up of common sense and of good content. Why in hell would we want to see more MORONS like the ones in this video be able to buy assult rifles based on pretty much no criminal history ? How about trying to test their common sense just a little for crying out loud ? A program such as this should be put together by the NRA to show the world we are trying to do something to promote RESPONSIBLE gun ownership . Dont leave it up to our government or it would be full of slimey loop holes to make sure only the select few if any could pass muster. We as gun owners are going to come under attack and our best defense should be a strong offense if we want to win the battle. If we do nothing that is what we will most likely will end up with. Nothing.

10 spot that sounds very resonable to a Kiwi who has been brought up with such rules but probably will raise hackles over there.
I feel the same way about video games.. anyone else seen grand theft auto??? what a crock of doggy doo doo!!! get extra points for shooting police... fair makes my blood boil. the whole desensitising thing MUST have some effect on young minds.
unfortunatly you are right about it. the driving is the same.
