Great stuff, I show the wife these type of posts.
I have fixed No2 in my home and I am the one that asks her to 'put the lid down'

As you all know women are basically very lazy, with no idea of how things actually work around the house. [car and enviroment in general]

1. After men use the toilet they often leave the seat and lid raised. This is becase they will probably use it again before the other half does.
2. If you put the seat and lid down they will still complain that they have to lift the lid up. But they will always leave the lid up.
3. After you give them a bit of their own back, ie; constantly nagging them to put the 'lid down' you find they give up and in no time you will be able to leave both the seat and lid up. Rather than as they request to just have the seat down.

The education of some woman can be tiresome and boring, but overall they can be trained well to do the things you want.
