That is when you put your hat down, turn around and it isn't where you left it.... or when you can't remember that word you always use and its on the tip of your tongue but are too far sighted to see it. Moments later you remember where you actually put your hat and in the middle of another conversation you remember that word - but it has nothing to do with the subject at hand so you forget it.

My mom and I both shared "Part timers disease and about two months before she passed she told me she was getting old and I asked her why - she said because I don't always remember the word I want to use. I reminded her of part timers disease and we had a great laugh. She decided it wasn't age after all.

I am really glad I spent so much time with her that last year. I miss her but it doesn't hurt... good memories of a saint.
