Ok that's scary!! I love the Guide to Aussie Politics, totally obscenely funny and horribly true, all at the same time. What a mess to try and guess if you're vote is going to make a difference or not, when you don't even know who gets it. Could they have come up with anything more mangled? Looks like they tried really hard to. Is Australia somewhere in Californie?

and there was a time, not so long ago, that someone of Austria with a little mustache wanted to rule the world...

but here election is going a little different. Some people are the party-leaders (you can compare that with China, but here are more parties Smile )
Only sons and daughters of these leaders and some good friends are alowed on that election list, so someone else can never interfere.
So the sheep get the idea that they can elect somebody and they don't feel manupilated.
The trick is always to have your opponent thinking that your idea was initially his (or her) idea...

till the next war the people who can talk will rule the people who can act... during a war the talkers will make room for the acting people and afterwards they'll return and continue just like before. That's history teaching whoever wanted to learn... history also teaches that a good story can rectify a lot, maybe even everything when you bring it the right way on the right occasion.

But in America the dead can keep on voting for years , just ask the demo-rats. But on the other hand the demo-rats vote more than once, just look at the count for some of the districts in Florida , some were as high as 150% of the registered voters. Please expand to me how that is possible yet the courts upheld the count.

So to me Australia has nothing on The good old UNITED STATES for having idiots running the elections.

Is it time for a beer yet ? Cheers Flag Cheers
