Seal 1 CLP

I still use the products that we had in the Army, with a couple of exceptions. Break Free CLP, Nicalube and Sweets are my primary cleaners/lubes although my mate mixed up a batch is Ed's Red which I haven't used enough yet to form a solid opinion, although it is good for helping remove the plastic residue from my shotgun barrels. The I other exception is Tri Flow Superior lubricant with P.T.F.E. My son in law gave me a bottle when he worked in a bicycle shop as a mechanic. This stuff is supposed to be the ducks guts as a chain lube for competition bikes and it works great on firearms as well.

I must have a wee sniff of Hoppes #9 to see what makes it so addictive. Laughing

Tell them to leave the gun alone for about 3-6 months and report back.
