Just started loading my own waterfowl loads and would like to find some 12ga 3 1/2" hulls. I have some but not near enough in my opinion. Also looking for a decent supplier of 10ga hulls. Anyone got any ideas?

sorry, can't help you. Shot shells are the least expensive off-the-shelf ammo I buy. But, I guess I'm not buying the fancy waterfoul loads.

Do a Google search mate, that is how I found some .410 hulls. Another option is to try you local Clay Target Club...they rarely reload, although they usually on;y use 2 3/4" shells.

Thanks guys, the 2 3/4 are easy to find it's the 3 1/2 that are hard to find. I have to look into the Cheddite hulls and see if I like them or not.

RePete I already use BPI and they are out of stock right now, Presicion Shooting has some Remington once fired, just looking for other suppliers.

cheddites are well known for easy loading. use them for steel max twice then chuck em away/dont pick up. really good threads on duckhunting chat on reloading them and identifying them as loads of companies use them.
most clay loads over here are falcon and they use mainly cheddites.

I would have to say that 99% of 12g loads these days are loaded into cheddite hulls. I reload compression formed hulls (Winchester AA) for trap shooting and use cheddite hulls for field use. The compression formed hulls are usually 8 crimp whilst the cheddite are 6 crimp.

Make sure you use the correct wads for the hull you settle on using...there are specific wads for compression formed hulls and a different type of wad for cheddite style hulls. They are pretty easy to differentiate one from the other...the wads for the compression formed hulls have a finer softer bottom edge and the one for cheddite hulls has a stiff base to go over the powder. Using the wrong type of wad can cause pressure problems.
