1095 + 15N20 at 48 layers hand hammered.

Vince, the steel starts as 6 strips each of 1095 and 15N20 steel, I forge weld them and fold weld them 4 folds to make 48 layers.
I could have go another fold but my arms are really tired by then (who needs to go to the gym), so I gave up and shape it to the way it is now.
Bushy, the masterpiece is yet to come .. It will be my last work right before I die..... one day..... in a far future... hopefully...
Pete, the client want them (this blade and the other few I made last week) to be scaled with Australian hardwood or hard burl.. so I am getting a few pieces for him to look at today.
