Now if only you could develope that kind of "eye/hand" co-ordination when using a manuer fork.

Aint my fault, ya backed over the flingin' fork with the tractor. Now my tosses into the bin are hookin' right!

And quit shootin' rats in the barn at midnight, some of us are tryin' ta sleep! And all them misses add up to drafts up my backside in the manger!

We have these here:

Gambels Quail


Not too many places to hunt them anymore as civilization encroached on them... oh they are still there in the same spots... its just those spots are now front lawns, gardens, parks etc. LOL

I love the look of them and their calls in the morning. The babies are super funny in the spring, look like 50mph brown cotton balls zipping around.

I haven't seen any quail here in years. I'm guessing that habitat loss and feral cats have wiped them out.
