I want to download the pointblank program but understand that there will be a new version. I don't want to start using the current version to have to restart with the new one. Is there any idea of when the new version will be available? Will we be able to transfer current data from the current version into the new one easily?
Thanks
Joe

ps. I like the site.

Transfer of old databases into new ones will happen very easily. There will be an "Import" old database function. I do not have a date for availability yet... when i started working on a new version last year I fully intended for it to be done by now. Sadly I lost my job and had to start at a new company that has me on a project that is requiring a huge amount of time. That said PBv2.0 is coming along quickly. There is a ton done on it so far and I'm trying to spend as much time as I can on it each week. Its offered freely so I cant afford to make it the same priority as other tasks I have that pay the bills Smile

I'd still recommend using the existing version and switching over when the new one releases.

Well, thanks a bunch. I did not mean to say hurry it up or anything. I just did not want to start out and then restart again. Sorry to hear about the job but hopefully the new one is an improvement. Life stears us in mysterious ways.
Thanks again
Joe

I would be lost without that program. I love it. Sorry to hear about your job. Us old guys with no job loose contact with the real world after awhile.
