I've been hunting, Christmas shopping, remodeling, trap & skeet shooting, running my wife (and others) to the Dr.'s, teaching the teens at church, etc. No Vince, I'm not working, still retired. Mabe I shold go back to work, I wouldn't be so busy.........nah

Vince, the missus is doing better these days. The schedule they got her on seems to agree with her. She'll never be 100%, but, Lord willing, she'll still enjoy some comfort in the days to come. I hope Christmas brings you lot's of good things...maybe a new gun

Merry Christmas Guys,

I've been busy with Family and Christmas.
Just cooked a goose dinner for the Family tonight.
I let our oldest Son Ben,16yrs, go goose hunting with a buddy without me for the first time, and he brought back 4 geese weighing around 15# each.
Season is over now, but Ben was pretty proud, and so was I.
The lakes are frozen enough to go on, so I will try some fishing tomorrow if I have time.

A new rifle....oh I wish. No such luck here mate. Santa bought me a set of digital scales, but he made a slight error and bought a set of kitchen scales that only measure grams and ounces ....we are looking at that one now.

The wife was makin’ Christmas cards
To send, come Christmas next
In Turnup’s thoughts, the ribbon box
Was the perfect place to nest

So

He snuck inside the tangled mass
An’ curled up in a ball
This curlin’ took some furlin’
He is chubby after all

When

The wife run out of Elmer’s
She went lookin’ fer some glue
Sure enough she found Super stuff
It was frikkin’ sticky too

Well

You might know the phone would ring
An’ it would be her sister
Yackety yak ‘fore she got back
Turnup woke an’ missed ‘er

He thought he’d check the table top
Fer unattended treats
But what he got, sure was unsought
Stuff was stickin’ to his feets

He’d stick one out an’ shake it
But when he set it down
Tinsel, glitter and other litter
To his toes was bound

In amongst the clutter
Were brightly colored balls
When Turnup sat, imagine that

With a bowlegg’d, straddle, waddle
The poor cat tried to run

Well I got the new chair I'm sitting in as I type this and a remote weather station, and a few other items, that's about it.

Vince, I didn't get a new gun, although I will soon enough. I told everyone what I wanted and they pretty much got it...gift cards for Cabela's, a sporting goods store. I mentioned my birthday was coming up Feb. 1st, said I needed more gift cards
