In the spring-time, I have traveled to as many as 6 states during the spring turkey seasons. Then a trip or two to western states for elk and/or antelope hunts. Being an old guy on a limited budget, I have to really plan and watch my $$$ to get in all the huntin' I would like.

Rolling Eyes Time being the factor I am planning on hunting upstate New York this year for whitetail. Up by Auburn in the Finger Lakes area. Next year I'll be heading back to the home state of Minnesota in November after a trip back to Alaska in I believe September for Moose. Might be October. This year will be NC (home) and Virginia. Gotta love the eastern mountains much more person friendly than the Rockies. Wink

Hello, I usually hunt here in Illinois but that is changing some what quick.
Since a friend introduced me to black powder cartridge and all of the Sharps calibers 2 years ago, I have enjoyed every minute shooting the old history makers. I will be going to Tennesse to hunt Red Stag in October. Then I will be going to South Dakota to hunt Buffalo in Feb. 2006. Something I have always dreamed of doing and now I have the chance. From there, I could not tell where I will be going next.

7mm Magnum what part of Idaho are you Elk hunting in. Perhaps I will run into you.

I have only hunted in Idaho, but would really love to go back to the mid west for some good old fasioned pheasant hunting. Our pheasant numbers are pathetic.
