depends where you live, in Canada we call them the House of Parliament, I believe in the U.S. they're referred to as the Senate.

desirable, babe.

Male turkeys strut about, gobbling loudly and holding their heads high. They stick out their chests, fan their large tails and drag their wings on the ground. They do this to attract the attention of the female turkeys.
yep sounds just like men.

back to thinking that camo is just unnecessary after what bushy said long time ago.
I talked to my uncles that went without camos and brought 2 home 2 each.
they didnt wear camos.
just fine marksmen, guess thats why they survived Nam.

found this for interesting read
www.saskschools.ca/~gr...yinfo.html

if i hadnt swerved the other day I would have had a turkey ornament on the front of my big red dodge .

hey babe did you know that Canada ranks 6th out of 10 in turkey production?

Keetoowah,

are you using "marksman" interchangeably with "woodsman"?

I mean no disrespect to your family, but if marksmanship=Turkey hunting success, than most anyone who can shoot MOA accuracy should be a successful turkey hunter. I know that some states (West Virginia comes to mind) allow the use of centerfire rifles to hunt turkey. Where I live ,and in the majority of the US, it is a close range endeavor, with shotguns and bows being the only legal means of harvesting a bird.

I have, on numerous occasions, been successful at walking (NOT stalking) within 150-175 yards of a flock of turkeys. It's normally at around that distance that they get nervous, and leave the scene. It it was legal to hunt them with a rifle here in Ohio, I have little doubt that I would fill all tags that the State would sell me.
