I've Lee Resize Lube to be the best for me.

Water soluable, you can wipe it off after sizing or leave it on. Leaving it on leaves a dull finish on the cases.

If you batch load, like I do, lube 50 - 100 cases, when I have time letting the lube dry, later resize, then prime, but I always charge the cases and seat the bullets in 1 operation.

This works for me and your mileage may be different.

FWIW Lee lube isn't expensive.

No...No trend. Like he said. It seems to work for a lot of people. Though I do know a lot of people that have had stuck cases using One Shot. Me for one. The way I do it isn't that much of a strain as while the cases are tumbling I have other tasks to perform in the reloading process. Wiping the cases with a rag was needed to remove the access One shot too. I like my cases oil/grease free. As far as having to remove media from flash holes...I don't have that particular problem. I use a very finely ground corncob with chromium oxide added. this media flows through the flash holes like sand through a hour glass...

HAPPY NEW YEAR... Very Happy

Welcome to this fine site BHP9. Like Joe said...And jump in when you want and often... Very Happy Yes...I've heard nothing but good about Lee lube. It's just I still have a bottle of RCBS to use up before I try another new (for me) product...

Very Happy Hey Bushy-do you remember where Molalla is?About 25miles SE of Tigard.Far enough away from "P"town not to be in the thick of things.

As far a case lubes go-I think that S.T.P. is interchangeable with the old rcbs gooey lube, and is cheaper by the half pint! Laughing

Yes. I remember Molalla, Metzger, Tualatin(sp), Beaverton, Sherwood and a bunch of others. In my day it was O K to give your kids a sack lunch and turn them loose for the day. I rode my Roadmaster bike all over the place. Be gone all day.

STP...Naw...I'll stick with what I know works for me...

I've used both Imperial & RCBS lube without any issues but I also have some Lee lube I was given.
One of these days I'll try it.

For some reason, I'm minded not to use a spray lube.

Thanks for the warm welcome guy's.

Bushmaster, ditch the RCBS lube and jump into the Lee lube. That doesn't sound right, but hey, what does in the privacy of one's home.

Remember what STP stands for?

STAY TOGETHER PLEASE!
