What license? Is that the tax that the government charges me to hunt game animals that I've fed all year on my own land..... that license. Mad

Utahs general season archery just ended... I got a few shots and missed everyone. It was spot / intercept type hunting with zero time to use a rangefinder. I shot over a couple times, under a couple times... not sure how other than misjudging distance by 10 yards.

There is an extended "archery only" hunt area near my home that runs through mid dec and is either sex. I'll be trying that area I guess if I want a deer. Its on a steep mountain with no vehicle access so its a pain to get into.

October 1st is our opener. I will be out in the ground blind with my good ol'Martin Bangal. We had a bonus early season on the 18-22 and I missed a doe with my Xbow. Mad

I have a Hoyt compound bow that I bought years ago and used a few times. It is a very nice bow and I really like it. The problem is getting time to get out. I will just have to make time to use it. All the best...

Went out this am, seen a 9 point following some doe's about 70 yards away. Mad Grunted some, but he had other things on his mind and paid me no mind at all. Sad
Seen nothing at all this evening.

Hey there Joe...good luck with your new Horton mate. Be watching to see how it performed for ya.

Hey Crackpot..um, spot...um, dot...um, not..ahhhh, Crackster...70 yards too far for a bow shot mate? I've not had much at all to do with bows so I don't really know.

Cheers, Vince

45 yards is to far for me Vince. But some fella's may take a shot that far & farther. I know my limits and wont cross them. Its not worth it.
