So my father bought me a laser bore sighter for Christmas. The Site Lite Laser Bore sighter. And I never downloaded the software from the internet.

Apparently it will print out target sheets to match at "X" yards with where the laser should be aimed and where the cross hairs should be zeroed out. Only issue I guess you can say is that the Site Light is only able to print charts out to go up to a 300 yard zero. But that is plenty good. Smile

I should have tried it sooner. Very Happy

Now to wait for my rifle from the gunsmith. And hopefully my rear sight will be through customs by the time I get the rifle which should be next weekend. Smile

D, just remember this... Someone used one of those things on a rifle for me to get the scope "zeroed". When I fired at 100 yards it was a foot right and a foot low. Luckily I was using a new target backer or I'd have never found the hole.

I sighted in my 22LR with it in January for jack rabbits at 20 yards, gives me a zero of about 60 yards and it worked well (a few clicks and I was zeroed to 55 yards once I got out to the field and shot a couple rounds). Smile

I used this chart to figure that out:
