Went to Gander Mountain today to look for a Birthday present for my Wife.
I just happened Very Happy to check and see if for some reason they might have some small pistol primers.
Well--they had 2500 Federal Gold Medal Small Pistol Match primers.
The salesmen said that they were $50.00 a thousand, so I only took a thousand of them.
When the girl at the cash register scanned them, and with my Son Ben's 20% discount, that box only came to $34.00.
Needless to say, I walked out of there carrying 2500 Match Primers.

Will I go to hell for this, or will God forgive me because I didn't tell them that they had goofed on the price.
What REALLY bothers me, is that I don't feel in the least bad about this. Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad

A few Hail Mary's would do it I reckon..

Being atheist, I would do a few Bloody Mary's instead if I am the one who does it Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Cheers

I agree with Gelan Eric....about a dozen Hail Mary's should be sufficient penance mate. My other concern is that it could come back to bite Ben on the butt if they realise their goof.

Hm, I have about 3500 Federal Small Pistol Match Primers sitting here that I am never likely to use...might just have to sell them methinks. Very Happy Very Happy

Cheers, Vince

You guys wouldn't believe their pricing SNAFUs.

I was Dept. Manager at Menards for many years, and I know that if a Company like Menards took over, they would fire every Store and Dept. Manager as soon as they saw what goes on with pricing, merchandising, etc.

Actually, if I would have been foolish enough to let them know of their mistake, they would have said not to worry about it.

On top of all of that, SP primers are like gold when you find them, and I will get lots of use out of them.

Eric

Hey Padre!

The Pope called!

You are going to 'H-E-double hockey sticks' when you die if you don't send me at least half of that cache of pimers.

If it were up to me? Pfft....I'd let it slide. But, the Pope said pay up. OR ELSE!

I forgot to tell you guys that there was a guy just before me who purchased 3000 of them.
I bet he got a good deal also. Very Happy Very Happy

I have to say I'm jealous. It is quite often that the employees at Gander don't care. Witch sometimes makes up for the elevated prices they charge in gander. It is kinda like a benefit of shopping there.
