yes, I guess that is a moot statement as a really dirty gun takes about the same time to clean as a kinda dirty gun.

I dunno. Aint THAT dirty. Some light gray soot and no unburnt kernals. Aint as clean as a full house H110 load but the gun cleans up in a jiff. Lube from cast lead loads makes more of a mess when I use those IMHO.

YMMV though.

shot some unique and 215 swc's in both the rifle and the pistol also some 215 gdhp factory stuff. the unique combo makes it feel like a 38 special, nice for plinking didn't have a paper target on hand just some casual stump shooting but it seemed to shoot point of aim.

Got a target at 50 yards today shot alot of 1.5" groups with the factory sites shooting without a bench. calling it good enough. That's about what this gun was designed for I might be curious as to what jacketed would do at 100 yards so I'll probably load up some 170 sierra jhc's for that.

Yeah reading back over that I can see how that might not have been clear, I was thinking you guys were being pretty sweet until the thought occurred to me that most people associate .41 with a revolver or desert eagle not a 1894, so I decided to clarify so the b.esometer could stay in the reality zone or if you're elyboy the crapometer.
