Well all of you guys and your tree stands aint got nothing on us here in AZ. We just set up on top of a mountian or ridge and with high powered binoculars we glass across long distances. Its not unusuall to see the critters over a mile away. Then the fun begins (the stock)! This picture was on a Javalina hunt this January.

That reminds me of huntin' Couse down aroun Globe. I don't imagine it'd work too well in the San Franciscos though. Laughing

Hey Slamfire,
Where are you from? Its good to hear from someone who has hunted Coues. I hunt Coues myself the same way as the above picture. I have a picture in my albums of a Coues that I shot in unit 24b this past year. It was a nice little 3x4. Anyways always good to hear from a fellow Coues hunter.

Coyotehunter_1,
You crack me up. Well I was gonna post a picture of me sitting in a tree but I couldnt find a tree to sit in LOL Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy .
Then the only thing out here that looks like a tree has spines all over it and you dont want to be sitting on no Saguarro cactus (ouch). Shocked .
But in all reality the desert landscape sure is pretty once you get out into it.

Yep, not too many trees around! I was out your way about a year ago. Stayed at a little place called Vegas. Took the $5 tour to see Hoover Dam & the big ditch. Cool Traveled into the great state of Arazonie and several others.... loved the deserts and red rock formations. Saw a few prairie dogs but no coyotes... maybe next time. Very Happy It was quite a blast for this ol’ Appalachian hillbilly! Very Happy
