Then check-out the broad heads! They have lasers in the broadheads now! Watch the Hog video - a bullet wouldn't have done this well.

Yea lighted arrow nocks are cool... unfortunately they made them illegal in my state (stupid!). That lazer broad head is interesting (also illegal in my state).

You want to talk crazy, there is a new head that you put a pistol bullet in, when the head hits the target, it triggers the bullet to go off! A strange concept to use a bullet on an arrow delivery system to get it to the target, but people are thinking up all kinds of new technology.

I just set up my arrows and bolts with lighted knocks. Hopefully we will see how they work in the field next month Very Happy

Why would they make lighted arrow nocks illegal? It lets you find your arrow! What is wrong with that?

Its something based on being an aid to locate game if you hit one and the arrow stayed stuck in it. Similarly there is a law against having string attached to a arrow when used for big game (who thinks up this stuff???)

I'd love to use them though for practice shooting to locate lost arrows.
