Since moving to Texas, I thought I had seen everything camo including duct tape, but tonight when I got to work (Lowe's) I was told that we just got a shipment of Mossey (sp?) Oak plywood. It looks really good. It is the standard 4'X8"X11/32" plywood with a vinal coating of Mossey Oak camo. The price is not bad, I think it $16.49 a sheet which is only a couple of buck more than standard plywood. I am guessing, but I think they are trying it to see how it sells, we are only getting one shipment.

For someone wanting to build a box blind/tower blind what could be better? Knowing the cost of anything with a copyright patern it probably adds $20.00 per sheet of plywood though.

I'm with Chris on this one. It was only going to be a matter of time before someone bought out camo building materials, especially given the following hunting has in the US.

Cheers, Vince

Actually at 11/32" it sounds like panneling for a game room wall.

11/32 " is pretty thin, paneling like popgun said. I wonder how well it will hold up to the elements.
Keep it coming...

from what I have seen of this camo plywood it does not hold up for very long before the camo starts peeling off.

The store manager had the assembly guy build a deer stand and put it out in front of the store. It has been out there about 3 weeks, we shall see how well it holds up.

11/32 is the actual size of 3/8" plywood in the USA. it is great for building blinds and that outhouse down the path to the blind. If you are going to do this be sure and put it up this year and then use it next year - it takes a while for the deer to get used to having it around.

This is 11/32 plywood with a paper Mossy Oak pattern glued to it. It will hold up about 2 days in the weather. Do not build a blind with it unless you are only going to hunt one week-end.
It is a monument to the fact that ther is some one some where who will buy anything.
