I am returning to reloading after many years absance. Since retiring I have decided to get back into shooting. I used to shoot a 222 rem and reloaded for it, using a Lee loader and weighing all my charges. Since I am thinking of using a K Hornet and neck sizing the cases the I fireform for the one rifle what reloading die will I need? I am sure the old Lee in 22 hornet will not let me neck size due to the different case width and new shoulder. What are some of you current users doing?
Thanks
OldBill

OldBill, I started reloading with the Lee reloader stuff....some 35 years ago. To get better, more consistent results I finally jump into RCBS rockchucker. I found a used one some 25 years ago for not much money and have been using it ever since.
I reload the Hornet (not the K version) and get great results.
good luck and welcome to the site. I really rejoy this sight over any of the other ones.

OldBill,
There are neck sizing dies that are more or less "universal" so long as cartridge length is within limits. They usually sell a "short", "medium", and a long neck sizer for each caliber they are made in. Thats the problem they don't make them in a lot of calibers yet so if you find them they may not make a 22 caliber neck sizer. I know that they make a 6mm sizer, and a 30 cal sizer because those are the two that my brother bought. The sizer is pretty simple - just straight bore of about 1/2" and then a carbide donut that does the sizing. Unless your shoulder angle was 90 degrees you won't have any problem using these universal sizers - as long as you can find one for your caliber and case length.
