Hi Tuck2,

Do I have a varmint rifle for you. I will garrentee it will take any varmint you will ever want to shoot. Right now it is shooting 7/16" four shot groups at 200 yards. The only problem is it might get a little spendy to do a lot of shooting with. It is a 338/378 Weatherby Mark V. It uses 108gr of RL-25 powder and the 225gr Barnes Tripple Shock X bullet. I was supprised to see how accurate this rifle was but if one of those ground grizzlies, { Rock Chucks }, ever charged me, I'm ready, ha ha.

I think a friend of mine who has a 204 has been using Benchmark with good success.

catch you later, The Big Dog

Hi Ed Coffey , Sounds good to me , I have taken a few prairie dogs with a 308 Norma Mag but none with my 340 Weatherby, Thanks for the idea.-- Have you shot any Elk with your little old varmint rifle ? I may try some Benchmark with the 40 Gr bullet.
