2007 study by Texas A&M University found that the average American walks about 900 miles per year. Shocked

Another study by the American Beer Institute found that Americans drink an average of 22 gallons of beer a year. wtf

This means, on average, Americans get approximately 41 miles per gallon. Not bad......not too bad at all! Very Happy

However, I feel sure that given that the USA is known for producing cars identified as gas guzzlers that we can lift our game a little and increase our "fuel" consumption on the personal front. Very Happy

I work with a few that get a good 50 miles to the gallon.
