Thank you Woods! My concern was that it was easy to remove too much brass since the steel wool is harder than the case. If you've been measuring it and it's good I'll have to give that a try too.

Excellent point Mike.
As for the way I use the steel wool, it doesn't go in much further from the end, as than say the deburring tool. The inside of the neck (other than the first 0.03-0.04") doesn't even get touched.
