cut to the chase, we had a cat, rescued it from a hard short life from the back yard here, and it grew into a great cat, stuck to my son like glue.. well yesterday the little booger passed on.. last night however, i heard him meowing through the house just like normal my daughter said this morning he was in her room meowing at her. my son sitting on the couch with his and the cats favorite blanket says hey check this out, the room is 70 degrees, and a little spot on the blacket exactly the size of the cat was an easy 10 degrees colder, not just a chill or a couple degrees but a serious COLD spot!!

apparently ol' max the cats job with us is not quite done yet...

from being brought into the home as a flea ridden size of an orange, not knowing if it would live to ten years later, never wanting to go outside ever again he just aint ready to move on..

for those of you who believe, there ya go, for those who dont, well i seen too many things in my life to not believe...
Sad

Morax,,I do believe you .There are forces at work here...My wifes gramma sits at the foot of the bed at talks with her. This also goes on w/my daughter too. Me? I'm just a lonely dude. My dead reletives don't speek to me. I do have those moments when I've thought I've had a coversation with my dad before and 2-3 years later the subject comes up....De ja vue?? Dave

Wow, and I mean that in a nice way. We truly don't know everything and somethings defy analysis. I like the way you put it that ol' max is still wanting to hang around where here he felt safe, secure and loved. Well who could blame him for that.

of course if it was just one or the two kids, i could write i off as wishfull thinking, you knowbut when all of us hear and or see something, cant really say nothing but hey why not.. i can remember when my son was itty bitty he would be eating dinner at the tale, stop turn towards the corner of the room and start talking away to "noone" well i asked him who it was he was yapping to, he said "that lady" ummm ok at 3 yrs old every female is "that lady" so i just shrugged it off, till the wife and i was doing a new photo alblum, and he saids dad thats the lady i was talking to.. it was a picture of his god-mother, his moms aunt, who had passed awy 6 months before!!

so i have always said out loud and to myself, you all (lie and passed on) are more than welcome in my home just dont hurt no one and things will be fine...

That is pretty awesome Geoff. I know that my Mum still "sees" and talks to my Dad and he's passed on last June.

I like to keep an open mind about these things....I just don't know who, what, where or when happens after death. But I just can't see how the spirit, or life force, could simply cease to exist after death....its much too vibrant.

Continue to welcome your old mate....I doubt that "he" means any harm. The same with your little fella's God Mother.

Cheers, Vince
