Interesting....I'll look into that when work will allow me a little time.

About 8 years ago I was looking at a masters of environmental science degree offered by the university in Perth. I just about went for it, but my age talked me out of it. They've got a really interesting program. Bacause of the remote location, they offer the program on the internet.

Geology, along with environmental science are very interesting subjects. Geologists in my area either work in the oil industry or in the environmental science fields. At one time, I looked at moving to Australia to work as an environmental scientist.

We would have to travel out of Texas to get into the mine industry.

Working in any of the earth science fields pays enough to do ok, but not to get rich.

I'd recommend one of those degrees to any young person who want's to go to college and have an interesting career.
