One thing that really helps a community of hunters is knowing who lives near you. I for one hate to hunt alone and enjoy having another hunter along if for no other reason, safety.

Tonight I hooked up with 7mmRemMag who lives relatively near me and we had a short talk by PM about getting together for a range session or coyote hunt.

I noticed that he was from Georgia and a PM to him asking where in Georgia he lived. If he had not listed that info in his registration I would not have known where he was from. As it turned out he lives less than 50 miles from my house.

So I would like to ask the members to add some basic info to your registration. I'm not talking about wanting your Social Security number or unlisted telephone number and address . The name of the town and state would be great as would the country for you guys not from the US (I might want to drop by, eat your food, sleep in your house, and have you take me hunting ).

To add info click "My Account" at the top of the page then click "My Profile Information". Just add a little about yourself and click "Save". We have over 1500 registered users and about 1% put their home state in their registration .

Popgun, without it I wouldn't have know I drive by your place (while driving on RT 20) about 1-2 times a year. I found out I drive past Gil on the way to the range in PA that we both belong to. Not looking to just drop in on folks but it's a small world.

I see I haven't put my location but I can't figure how you add or change the info' page.

When you're logged in, on the top, left side of the screen is Modules. At the bottom of that is Your Account. Click on it. Under Information click My Profile Information. This should bring up the screen you need.

I tried it too but my location is not showing up either

So i'm from GEORGIA !

DUH nevermind it worked , had i refreshed the page it would have shown up

Sorry guys, its a bug.

If you enter the My Account link you then click the My profile information and you should see My Location ... well ok there is actually TWO My Location fields (hence the bug). Try putting your info in each one and update and see which one it really saves it in.

I need to upgrade the Website software again to version 9.0.6.1 I guess.
