Somewhere in the world a kid starves to death!!!

I'm not tryin to put a damper on it but thats just bloody ridiculous.

Enough food there to feed a family of 10!

I sure feel like I'm starving. Haven't not eaten breakfast yet and seeing those juice steaks and mushrooms! That plate could feed 20 or more!! Yes, I'm fortunate to be able to get up and rectify the situation.

Don't get me wrong guys its a laugh but we all gotta have a reality check and realise that some of the starving are actually in our own countrys.
Yeah it may be their own fault but surely excesses like this are just that. Excesses, what happens to all the leftovers, do you get a doggie bag or is it just hiffed out into the dumpster for some dero to find.

I'm not against it, whatever spins your wheels. Just tryn to make a point

Agree Radar...some of those hungry and homeless are "at home"...and it is usually their own fault, although not in all cases.

Drug addicts, alcoholics etc get no sympathy from me...in fact quite the opposite. Nobody held them down and shoved the powder up their nose, needle into their arm or bottle down their throat...they did it to themselves. I have some pretty strong views on these morons, so I won't get started. Note that I have, or have had had, both in my family.

Biggest problem I see with homeless folks is the handicapped...usually they have psychological or psychiatric problems that are not addressed or they can't deal with. These people need help and support...with a meal and bed.

You are right about the waste of food mate. In most cases, restaurants throw out as much as they cook. I believe that it is illegal to give it to the "soup kitchens" too. Shame.

Still and all...that is a nice looking steak; bit big for me though. Go ya halves Slim. Very Happy

When I find good meat like at a Texas de Brazil, I save the salad for another meal. Protein only, please!!
