How to spend a sunday afternoon

To hell with planking. This is more fun.

Items needed: One 12 year old grand daughter approximately 5' 1" and 100 lbs. Two .22 rifles. One .45 ACP. One .38 Special. 200 rounds of .22, 50 rounds of .45 ACP and 50 rounds of .38 Special.

It is necessary to have one 80* sunny day too.

The "bad girl" title was her idea.

Bushy, she hold her stance correctly, and knowing it is you that supervise, I reckon she will be handling the guns with authority.
In my book she is Good Girl anytime.

Shoots with both hands, good stance with the rifle at her age and size, what a great way to spend an afternoon, good stuff.

Ata girl!! Yeah now we're talkin. Finda few dillows to shoot too, Bushy's G-daughter. I bet that was fun. Some girls just don't know what they're missin. I always loved goin out shooting with my Dad and he got a kick out of my excitement.

And another statement: when you can handle a horse and a dog, you have the skills to handle your (grand-)children... patience and steadfastness do help!

And I'm a little jealous. I still don't know if I'm going to survive the birth of my first grand-son or grand-daughter. And when I was young I was allowed to shoot in my garden, now I can still do this because I have a hunting license but if I let a youngster use my guns in the garden... or they put me in jail or they take away all my guns, maybe both.

Elvis hits it out of the ball park. Horses and guns make it difficult for boys who come around. Especially if she is around male horses. Very difficult for a boy to impress her and if he doesn't like horses she won't like him.

And the knowledge of firearms and shooting skills...Well.....

HEY Bushy!! (talkin bout me as if I'm not here) It's sort of like job security, the only job security you truly have is in keeping up to date on your prospects for the next job. If you don't have any good prospects, then your job security is at the bottom of the pit. Just keepin my prospectives alerted, that's all. Have to keep them on their toes or they'll wander off. Cool
