Essentially the same as you would need for a standard cartridge or a long mag.

When I get a new rifle I gene ...

Seems to me that a lawyer that can't overcome the issue of handlaods is a pretty piss poor lawyer.

There are plenty of factory loads that are as deadly - or more so - than my handloads. I'd be h ...

Overall I'm not at all impressed with the Reminton 770. I'd much prefer a Stevens for less $$$ or Savage for the same or slightly more $$$.

For that matter, most of my rifles have been purchased u ...

One thing for sure, no matter WHAT kind of ammo was in the mag - if I was going someplace where I thought I might actually NEED the gun for defensive purposes, I would make DAMN SURE I went SOMEWHERE ...

Mostly, yes, I carry concealed with handloads.

Why? Because that is what I have on hand and that is what I practice with.

I don't expect I'll ever pull my gun but if I do the legal ramification ...

Just saw this thread and thought I'd add my two cents.

First, I shoot a 308 Win, .30-06 and .300 Win Mag, 7mm Rem Mag and others. My 7mm RM and 160g bullets ahve taken more game (mostly elk) in th ...

My last few purchases have included a.257 Roberts, .30-30, .308 Win, .30-06, .375 Win, .45-70 and a .300 Win Mag. All were used except the .300WM.

Nothing wrong with the newer stuff (WSSM, WSM, R ...

Yes, 7mm RM/140g TSX and .300WM/180g TSX.
