Never shot a Woodleigh, but I've never heard of any sporting bullet anywhere, made by anyone, that has a [i]steel[/i] jacket.

The steel barrel will expand before the bullet does because that is what is getting heated first. Tubing, if heated evenly will change size faster than a cylinder.

Seems like heating the barrel with a heat gun (not the wifes hair dryer either, mind you) to 250 or 300 degrees would swell the barrel enough to release the 2 or 3 thousandths of an inch that are hold ...
