Compressed BP works great in my .45/70.
Seriously, tried compressed loads in my .204 and, like Omni's experience, accuracy was less than desirable.

Good point, Marty.
Makes a lot of sense. I kinda got locked into 3-shot groups, trying to minimize component expenditure. But, sometimes I wonder whether I've pulled a shot or it's the load. ... |

I shoot mine the way you do but, I use only 3 shot groups for round robin.
Have you found a 5 shot group more definitive? |

My reference was only to small rifle primers. Big bore (large rifle primers) isn't an issue because all the cups are the same thickness.  |

Won't take advice. Even after the catastrophic dis-assembly incident. He's got the books. Just doesn't pay enough attention to "unimportant" details. Only so much one can do.
