I only use Eley subs in mine, with a moderator (silencer) apart from the cycling of the action the loudest noise is the thump of the bullet hitting the bunny.

I have had good results with H4350 and 100gr Speers, I am going to try it with some 105 gr speers and 100 grain Hornady Interlocks.
