My 2cents on muzzle breaks, they lessen the impact on your shoulder but kill the ears of who ever might be in the area. Sister has on on her 06 and I hate to be anywhere around when it is shot.

Hey Davey, PaulS lists the main reason for heat treating brass, alot of the time you just cant find th eright size of brass and since most calibers brass is a reformed version of another round........

Out of the options listed at the top I think the cat would work the best. Out here in CO yotes seems to really like a little....cat once in a while =-)
