I don't use premium bullets. I've never seen the need. I prefer the 180s over all the others in fact they seem to recoil less.

Try it with 180s. There's no logical reason to use light bullets in a .30-06.

Bought another 700 just the other day. It has a very light trigger but functions perfectly. I love them.

The guys on the Modern Muzzleloader forum rave about it. I haven't seen the need. I don't like Moly coated bullets because you can't switch back and forth with uncoated bullet.

Not at all, I just expect a deer rifle to shoot 1 MOA or better out of the box.

NULA and Gentry make Winchester type safties for the 700. I see it as a non-issue.

Premium bullets aren't really necessary on deer size game. I'd use 130 grain Remington Core-Lokts if they shoot well in your rifle.

In a recent test report in Rifle Magazine a $1500.00 X-Bolt's best group was 1 1/2" at 100 yards. I've never had to tinker with a Remington or a Marlin to get less than 1" groups with factory ammo.
