My dog Floss is a welsh springer. She's a superb ratter and a good all round rough shooters dog. She's not too shabby at finding lost deer as well.

Mostly here we class red grouse black grouse pheasant grey and red leged partridge snipe and woodcock. as smsll game. anything else is vermin with no close season except waterfowl .

Deer eat their shed antlers to replace calcium to help with regrowth next season. Ol so there are a number of rodents and insects which benefit from the added calcium.
