hey mate. savage is a great base to start. you can swap barrels and bolt faces in a few mins. got to www.longrangehunting.com and there is some great information on there.

ok just got the burris fullfield 4.5*14*42 with the balistic plec and the 12*24*50 spotting scope for $us345 at the opticzone. just hope customs here in nz dont tax me. cant wait to put it on the .308 ...
